Chinese: Fire Dragon Lounge

The area around the Hauptbahnhof (main station) is a rather blank spot on Munich's culinary map. With one exception: the Fire Dragon Lounge. Already the mainly Chinese clientele dining at this restaurant is proof of the authenticity of the dishes that are served here. To European taste buds some ingredients such as chicken claws or jellyfish salad may be challenging, but most of the food on offer is just a delightful diversion to the common sweet and sour meals of most of the city's Chinese restaurants. Another specialty of the place are the hot plates embedded into dining tables on which hot pots are kept warm. Also exceptional for Munich restaurants are the opening hours. On weekends and every Monday diners are welcome to eat until 5 am!
