Each year, on the first Saturday of the concurrent spring festival, private vendors offer everything from silverware, clothing and furniture to records, jewelry and knickknacks beneath the Bavaria statue. The annual event is not only a great place for thrifters, but has become a favorite meeting point for the hipsters and young families of Munich. You can also easily join the team of vendors by arriving a little earlier than 7 am with your goods at Theresienwiese. Renting a space costs € 15 (3-meter), each aditional meter is charged with € 5 and the parking fee is another € 5. Selling out of your car is prohibited and no reservations are required.
