Roof with a View

Are you ten years old or more and interested in seeing the world-famous Olympic Stadium’s architecture from a whole new perspective? Then the unique Zeltdach-Tour Roof Climb is for you. Along with a small group of fellow sightseers, you will climb to the spectacular roof, where the tour guide describes the stadium’s architecture and construction. The 120–minute tour also allows a chance to take in the impressive view of Munich’s skyline, and, if the weather is good, beyond to the foothills of the Bavarian Alps and Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze. You will be provided with rope and a snap hook, so the only equipment you need is suitable shoes (with rubber soles) and a little courage. The roof climb takes place daily at 2:30 pm, though only when the weather is suitable, until October and costs € 18 for those between the ages of 10 and 15, and € 20 for everyone else. For reservations and information, call the Info Hotline at (0180) 53 06 730.
