What’s in a name?

One of Munich’s most popular cultural locations has changed hands. The buildings previously known as the Forum der Technik, situated on the Museumsinsel between Deutsches Museum and Ludwigsbrücke, are now called “amazeum.” The premises—home to the Imax cinema, the Planet Dome and two conventional cinemas—have been expanded to include convention and events space. More than 2,500 square meters of conference rooms, auditoriums and party space, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology and an in-house catering service, can be hired for private and public functions. Prices begin at € 150 for the smallest conference room and include basic equipment such as seating, flip charts, etc. Located in historic buildings, alongside one of Germany’s most popular museums, amazeum is sure to draw a great many customers.
