Open-air movie event
From July 17 to August 23, organizers at Munich’s Westpark will once again raise the curtain on “Kino, Mond und Sterne” (Cinema, Moon and Stars), an open-air movie event found at the park’s Seebühne. Moulin Rouge, Fight Club, Shrek and Chocolat are but a few of the blockbuster films that will be shown in German. Original-language movies will include Bridget Jones’ Diary and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tickets can be purchased, daily after 7 pm, at the Seebühne box office, or at the ticket agencies found in the Marienplatz or Stachus undergrounds. For more information, visit www.kino-mond-sterne.de.
