City Run
Perhaps the same force that carried Forrest Gump from coast to coast will spur the runners of the 30th
Münchner Stadtlauf (Munich City Run) along the difficult marathon route. Indeed, the sudden rush of propelling from the start with 18,000 runners dissipates long before the finish line. Still, the many beautiful sights of our city provide sufficient entertainment throughout the miles. The Stadtlauf will be held on June 29, and this year for the first time even the youngest may join the
DAK-Kinderlauf (children’s run). A 10K family race and 5K Nordic walking course offer alternatives for every fitness level. All runs require a registration fee of € 26; children and young adults (until age 16) pay € 10, and participation in the children’s run (until age 12) costs € 5. To register online,
