EuropaCup Track and Field
Again this summer, Munich will be a destination for international sports fans. More than 300,000 spectators are expected for the SPAR EuropaCup Track and Field Championships on June 23 and 24. Opening ceremony will take place in the Olympic Stadium at 1:15 pm on Saturday, and victory ceremonies will close the event on Sunday at 5 pm. In the meantime, men and women from Europe’s top eight teams will compete in an array of track and field events: hammer throw, high jump, javelin, and foot races among them. A one-day ticket costs € 15–38, and a ticket for both days costs € 23–61.
