Taking City Culture to the Streets
Even if you’ve packed away your bathing suit and cleaned out the grill, don’t forget that summer’s not officially over until September 23. On the weekend of September 2–3, you’ll have one last chance to sip a tropical cocktail on the sand in the heart of Munich when you visit the Streetlife Festival/Corso Leopold. Leopoldstrasse and Ludwigstrasse will be closed from Muenchner Freiheit to Schellingstrasse in honor of European Auto Free Days. Dozens of performers, street artists, biological food vendors and political activists will help more than 200,000 revelers create a different kind of traffic jam.
