Haus der Kunst's auction
Want to bag yourself a very unique Christmas present or two? Then
check out a fascinating auction taking place at the Haus der Kunst on
December 6. For two days prior to the event, (starting December 4 at 3 pm)
the Terrassensaal of the museum will be transformed into a showroom, entitled “Life: A User’s Guide.” It will be filled with various artifacts from the fields of art, fashion, design, literature, music and society, each of which will then be sold to the highest bidder on December 6 at 6 pm. Goodies on offer will include, apparently, “an invisible smile from Isabella Rossellini” and
“a high C from Anna Netrebko.” We wait with bated breath…
